Yamaichi Metal’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Targets Certified by SBT Initiative
In July 2022, Yamaichi Metal’s greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets were certified by the Science Based Targets (SBT) Initiative, an international initiative that recognizes targets based on scientific evidence.
Yamaichi Metal’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Targets
To reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 28% compared to 2019 levels by 2030, Yamaichi Metal will promote the transition to renewable energy for factory power usage.
As an SBT-certified company, Yamaichi Metal will continue to challenge the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
