Yamaichi Metal is pleased to announce the launch of our new brand “Yamaichi Green Tablet,” aimed at further contributing to CO2 reduction within the aluminum products supply chain.

Aluminum is typically categorized into “virgin material” and “recycled aluminum,” with recycled aluminum gaining attention for its lower CO2 emissions during the production process and its effective use of used materials.

Our original product, “Yamaichi Tablet,” developed from UBC-derived pellets and in the market for over 30 years, eliminates the need for a melting process, thereby reducing CO2 emissions that would normally occur during production.

With the introduction of our new brand, “Yamaichi Green Tablet,” we are setting a roadmap for further CO2 reductions: a 46% reduction by 2030 compared to 2020 levels, and a goal of 100% reduction by 2050.
