An article regarding our collaboration with UACJ was featured on page 9 of the Shizuoka Shimbun (March 8, 2023 issue).

Yamaichi Metal is partnering with UACJ Corporation to strengthen its used aluminum can recycling business. The two companies will jointly invest 100 million yen to establish a joint venture, creating approximately 50 new jobs. A new plant will be operational within UACJ’s factory in Fukui Prefecture in about two years. This plant aims to produce 4,000 tons of recycled raw material per month, equivalent to the capacity of our main base in Nagasawa. This initiative is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 120,000 tons annually.
We are committed to working together with UACJ to contribute to the future of the global environment.
