YAMAICHI PURPOSE
Restoring the Earth

To maintain a healthy society,
it is essential to address environmental issues.
By promoting products made from 100% recycled materials,
we can reduce waste and eliminate the need for new resource extraction.
To live and thrive together with the Earth,
we aim to create a society that
values and requires 100% recycled materials.

For FUTURE GENERATION
For the generations of our children and grandchildren,
we value the spirit of challenge and build a better tomorrow.

"Now is the time to solve social issues through recycling!"

It has been over 60 years since the founding of Yamaichi Metal, and the world has changed dramatically. The words of our founder, who said that wisdom is necessary to keep up with the times, come to mind.

During the Showa era, especially the 35 years of the high economic growth period, mass production was necessary as consumption continued to increase amid economic prosperity. On the other hand, recycling at that time was only valued for its cost reduction.

Today, Japanese society has become affluent, with almost no households lacking electricity, water, or refrigerators. At the same time, the abundance of mass-produced goods has led to a growing recognition of the value of reusing items (recycling) as a method to reduce the burden on the Earth's environment.

Assuming that the electricity required to produce aluminum ingots from bauxite is 100%, the electricity needed to produce recycled aluminum ingots from aluminum scrap is only 3%. This is just one example of recycling, but it demonstrates how reusing materials can save energy.

Recycling is an excellent method for solving environmental problems. While I believe that continuing our company's recycling methods can help alleviate environmental burdens, I also hope that we continuously challenge ourselves to find better ways of recycling that can contribute to solving environmental and social issues. We must strive to ensure that the Earth remains healthy for the generations of our children and grandchildren.
