Yamaichi Metal considers contributing to the local community as an important mission. As part of this effort, in 2023, we made a donation to Nagaizumi Town, where our headquarters is located, in Sunto District.

The donated funds were used, according to the wishes of Mayor Osamu Ikeda of Nagaizumi Town, for the construction of new playground equipment at Nagaizumi Elementary School. On March 22, a ceremony was held to unveil the new equipment, with our president attending as our representative.

Nagaizumi Town is highly popular among young families, thanks to its child-rearing support measures, such as medical expense subsidies for children up to 18 years old. Particularly at Nagaizumi Elementary School, where the new playground equipment was installed, there is a need to expand facilities due to the increasing number of students, with some temporary prefab buildings being utilized. As one of the few towns in Shizuoka Prefecture experiencing population growth, we hope that the new playground will be a delightful addition for the children.

We will continue to actively contribute to the local community. Alongside the residents, we will strive to achieve a more prosperous society. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
